Purpose of le Bailliage Régional de Phuket en Thaïlande
The Regional Council and members of the Bailliage Régional de Phuket are dedicated to raising the standards of fine dining in the Province. We work with hôteliers and restaurateurs to present menus and matching wine selections of the highest calibre. Our functions allow chefs de cuisine and maîtres d'hôtel of the host venues to escape their routine and regular preparations as they meet the challenge of creating an Extravagance Gastronomique for the world's foremost gastronomic society.

The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is the oldest and most prestigious international gastronomic society devoted to the promotion of fine dining and the camaraderie and pleasures of the table. There are members in more than one hundred countries in all parts of the world.
In Thailand there are over 250 members across five Bailliages: Ratanakosin, Mahanakorn, Eastern Seaboard, Phuket, and Grand North. These Bailliage members include leading chefs, wine and food importers, hospitality professionals, and food and wine aficionados of diverse backgrounds, who together partake in fine and casual dining events in style.

What is the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs?
The Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic society with chapters and members in over 100 countries. It is dedicated to bringing together both professional and nonprofessional members worldwide who share a mutual interest in food, wine and fine dining. Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs
A Society Within the Society
For members with a particular interest in wines, spirits, liqueurs and crafted beverages, the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs offers the option to join the Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs. The OMGD is a specific section of the Chaîne which specialises in and concentrates on wines, spirits, liqueurs and crafted beverages, and is an integral part of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. Its goal is to promote the enjoyment, appreciation and knowledge of fine wines, quality spirits, beers and mineral waters from around the world.
A major objective of the Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs is to organise dinners, tastings, meetings and events that focus on wine and beverages, pairing them with appropriate dishes. These events encourage and foster an understanding and appreciation of wines and spirits that is valued by OMGD members and their guests alike. Membership also includes professionals working across the drinks sector — distributors and producers — alongside amateurs who simply hold a love, enjoyment, or passion for fine wines and quality spirits.
Any active member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs may become a member of the Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs.
Candidacy requires sponsorship — the applicant must be proposed by an existing member of the Ordre Mondial.
Membership in the Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs requires a separate membership application and subscription payment, distinct from Chaîne dues.
